Why We Fly Fish

Steve, The Worm and Mary share how they got into the sport and why it keeps them coming back for more.

Where to start fly fishing?

  • Get some good open space and practice your cast.
  • Find a mentor or you tube videos to help you learn some technique.
  • Don’t be afraid to go out on your own.

When you are out on the water

  • Be respectful of the environment, fishers, and others enjoying the outdoors.
  • Warn people when you are passing behind them.
  • Tread lightly and minimize your presence so you don’t scare the fish or disturb others out on the water enjoying their surroundings.
